Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-27

These terms govern the use of the CanLog Solution platform. Opening an account means accepting them.

  1. 01

    What this service is

CanLog Solution resells parcel carriage from Canada Post, Purolator, UPS and FedEx to Canadian businesses. We provide the software that prices a shipment, issues a label and follows the parcel.

We are not a carrier. We do not collect, transport or deliver anything ourselves.

  2. 02

    Your account

An account is for one business. You are responsible for everything done under it.

Keep your password and your second factor to yourself. Two-factor authentication is required on accounts opened through registration, and removing it is not supported. Tell us at once if you believe an account has been compromised.

  3. 03

    Prices and payment

Every price you see is ours: our negotiated carrier cost plus our margin. We make no representation about how it compares to any carrier's published or retail price.

Labels are paid from a prepaid balance, charged at the moment the label is issued. Where a credit limit has been agreed, the balance may run negative up to that limit.

If a carrier reweighs or remeasures a parcel and bills a correction, that correction is passed to your account.

  4. 04

    The carriers

Once a label is issued, the parcel travels under the carrying carrier's own terms and tariff. Those terms govern transit times, service guarantees and liability, and they take precedence over anything stated here about the movement of the parcel.

Carrier names and marks are the property of their owners. Their appearance in this platform does not mean the carrier endorses us or is affiliated with us.

  5. 05

    What you may ship

You warrant that the contents of every shipment are lawful, accurately described, accurately weighed and measured, and accepted by the carrier you have chosen.

Dangerous and restricted goods go through the carrier's own process and may not be shipped on a standard label bought here.

  6. 06

    Loss, damage and voiding

Claims for loss, damage or delay are claims against the carrier, subject to that carrier's limits, evidence requirements and deadlines. We will file and pursue a claim on your behalf; we do not underwrite it.

An unused label can be voided before collection and the charge is returned to your balance in full. Once the carrier has the parcel, the charge stands.

  7. 07

    Our liability

The platform is provided as it is. We are not liable for a carrier's performance, nor for indirect or consequential loss including lost profit or lost business.

Our total liability on any claim is limited to what you paid us for the shipment the claim concerns.

  8. 08

    Your data

We hold what running the service requires: account and contact details, address book entries, and shipment records. Addresses and parcel details are sent to the carrier that carries the parcel, because a label cannot be produced without them.

We do not sell your data. Shipment records are kept as long as tax and carrier claim windows require.

  9. 09

    Changes, suspension and governing law

We may change these terms. The version your account accepted is recorded, and material changes will be notified before they take effect.

We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, for unlawful use, or at a carrier's direction.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

Prices shown are CanLog Solution's own rates, built on negotiated carrier costs. They are not the published retail rates of Canada Post, Purolator, UPS or FedEx. Carrier names and marks belong to their respective owners; showing them here does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
